Apparently it contains nitrogen, which the raspberries love.

My rasps were looking really sorry for themselves, with horrible brown leaves until I found out that this is a sympton of a lack of nitrogen.

I'm tempted to mulch my strawbs now...Jono / Real Men Sowhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02352423519627995754noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1396557921726257550.post-50007574817204686272013-02-06T11:05:41.635+00:002013-02-06T11:05:41.635+00:00I hope you have success with your raspberries I hope you have success with your raspberries Stacyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03249594797953083237noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1396557921726257550.post-28844367020272101272013-02-06T11:04:31.121+00:002013-02-06T11:04:31.121+00:00I hope you get a great harvest from the seeds :-)I hope you get a great harvest from the seeds :-)Stacyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03249594797953083237noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1396557921726257550.post-42343038054616958752013-02-06T10:37:28.912+00:002013-02-06T10:37:28.912+00:00Hello - I'm very interested in this because I&...Hello - I'm very interested in this because I'm hoping to put in some raspberries this year (with some other fruit bushes for the first time). I have planted raspberries, loganberries, blackcurrant, gooseberry and blueberries, so fingers crossed they do well this year. I received my seeds this morning, thank you so much!!!!!Helenhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01744344865134570283noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1396557921726257550.post-12899572199616327482013-02-04T20:03:24.736+00:002013-02-04T20:03:24.736+00:00Hi mark, yes its a dwalf variety, a few people hav...Hi mark, yes its a dwalf variety, a few people have suggested that to me, think I will give it a go this year thanks :-) Stacyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03249594797953083237noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1396557921726257550.post-47422880313920860302013-02-04T19:34:24.795+00:002013-02-04T19:34:24.795+00:00Re the pear tree: is it too big to protect with a ...Re the pear tree: is it too big to protect with a piece of fleece?
